TERMS AND CONDITIONS for all speaking and
workshop services

1. Contract
Our contract to deliver speaking, workshop, or outplacement services commences when a date is proposed by one party or the other and accepted or confirmed by us.
These terms and conditions will apply unless a variation is agreed in writing by both parties.

2. Fees
The fees for our services are notified separately by email or in writing. Unless otherwise specified, these fees are subject to VAT at the current rate, if applicable. If travel, accommodation, or other expenses are to be charged then these will be explicitly agreed in our correspondence. We do not routinely add on mileage or expenses.
3. Payment terms
The full fee for speaking or workshop delivery must be paid in advance of the date of delivery.
If it is not possible to obtain full payment from you, then we can refuse to process your order and/or suspend any further service to you. This does not affect any other rights we may have. We accept no liability if the service delivery is delayed because of a failure to pay the fee.
If the event is cancelled by you before the delivery date, we may charge a fee of up to 50% of the agreed fee and refund you the remainder (if already paid). We will only do this if we have incurred costs (or opportunity costs) such as the cost of any work already delivered (including planning,
preparation, writing, or travel and accommodation booking).
4. Intellectual Property (IP)
This work will involve the use of IP owned by STO Consulting Ltd including unique material protected by copyright. It is not expected that any new IP will be created as a result of this engagement. As such, all materials used will remain the property of STO Consulting unless explicitly agreed otherwise. In instances in which this copyright-protected material is provided to the audience to keep, this is done on the agreement that it will be for their personal use only and will not be used for any commercial reason without the written agreement of STO Consulting.
The material is copyright-protected and owned by STO Consulting. Buyers and participants may not copy it or use it commercially. Buyers and participants may not use the materials to deliver training and development sessions without a licence from STO Consulting.
Buyers and participants must not record workshops, talks, or sessions whether delivered in-person or online.
