A CV talk will transform participants’ confidence in their current ability and how to communicate that to employers.
You can choose from a lecture style or a practical workshop. In general, the more interactivity in the session, the more participants gain from the session.
CV writing masterclass
This is the ideal way to develop both confidence and job application skills in a group.
In my workshops, I take participants through each section of the CV and how to make it outstanding. But, of course, I begin with knowing your own value and what an employer wants and matching up the two.
The interactive environment is perfect for answering specific questions about how to write a CV, in context, with everyone learning from the examples that arise.

CV writing workshops
This can be a series of workshops specific to the needs of a group. Whilst a single two-hour masterclass can be all that is needed for some people, other groups might want to work through a slower pace. Schools and colleges or community settings are ideal for this.
We can spend a session on self-awareness, a session on analysing Person Specifications, and a session on writing a great CV that builds on previous learning.
Additional sessions can cover LinkedIn profiles and interview techniques, or any other aspects of job applications and career marketing.

There is more to CV writing than … writing. Actually, creative writing has very little to do with it. That’s what I cover in my training.
